“Caroline has been so wondertul to work with! She picks up on my dog's cues so well and has given me the tools to manage one very excitable girl haha. In our sessions we managed to get my girl walking so well and attentively as well as worked on car aversion. We've also worked on greetings and relaxation. She's been so perfect in giving me guidance and adapting training to what works for us. Thanks so much Caroline!!”

“Caroline is an excellent trainer! She really knows her stuff. She really helped with teaching my dog everything that I wanted him to learn. She was very patient with him. Definitely an excellent trainer who did a great job! Thanks again!!”

“Caroline is a wonderful trainer! Our dog Daisy has reactivity issues and Caroline set us up with the right tools and training to manage her stress, help her relax, and how to intervene before she reacts. She taught us a lot about how to read our dog’s body language which has been really helpful!
Caroline is always professional, punctual, and responsive! We highly recommend her!”

“caroline is amazing!! our fearful dog who struggles with strangers love her. she's super knowledgeable and understanding and has been so invaluable”

“As first-time dog owners, we were feeling overwhelmed with our 3-year-old rescue dog, Cowboy, who was reactive and challenging to handle. That's when we found Caroline, and we couldn't be happier with the results! We signed up for Caroline's 5-session package, and over the course of 5 weeks, we saw a remarkable change in Cowboy's behavior. Caroline is an exceptional dog trainer who truly understands the unique needs of rescue dogs. She patiently worked with us and Cowboy, teaching us essential skills such as loose leash walking, recall, and relaxation exercises. Thanks to Caroline's guidance, our walks with Cowboy have become much more enjoyable. He now walks calmly by our side, and his recall has significantly improved. The relaxation exercises have also been a game-changer , helping Cowboy feel more at ease in various situations. What we appreciate most about Caroline is her pleasant demeanor and her ability to explain training techniques in a way that is easy to understand and implement. She provided us with the tools and confidence we needed to continue working with Cowboy on our own. We highly recommend Caroline to any dog owner, especially those with rescue dogs. Her expertise, patience, and dedication to her craft are truly invaluable. Thank you, Caroline, for transforming our relationship with Cowboy and helping us become better dog owners!”

“I can't recommend Wuff Training enough. Caroline gave me practical tools for managing my 80-pound reactive dog on walks and for when unfamiliar people come into the house, and the engagement techniques she taught us have been game-changers.

Caroline also taught me how to effectively use a gentle lead. Everything we achieved came through positive, reward-based training -- no corrections, no punishment.

If you have a reactive dog and feel overwhelmed, Caroline is exactly who you need.”

“Caroline was excellent with Crosby. She helped him with his anxiety on walks and taught me how to better communicate with him. She was always on time for our lessons and very communicative throughout our training.”

“Caroline is just lovely. She has this gentle spirit that is so reassuring.

In just 3 sessions, my dog made noticeable progress, and my confidence in being able to support him skyrocketed. In 5 sessions, even more so.

I will say, it takes consistency and practice to see those results, but Caroline offered multiple exercises for each particular behavior, so if one wasn't working or didn't resonate with our lifestyle, we had different tools to turn to. It made it easy and empowering to be consistent on our end.

I was that proud person who thought I could YouTube my way through my new puppy because there is endless free information online (plus let's be real, in this economy, every penny is precious!) - but investing in a few private training sessions was life changing. It immediately cut through the noise. It was worth every penny.”

“We’re really grateful for Caroline’s help with Pepper. She’s incredibly flexible and has been willing to meet us in different locations, which has been especially helpful for working on Pepper’s real-world triggers. We’ve noticed a clear improvement in Pepper’s behavior, particularly around other dogs - she’s calmer and barks much less now. Caroline is thoughtful, practical, and easy to work with, and we genuinely appreciate the progress she’s helped us make.”

“Caroline is Absolutely Lovely to work with on training. Her dog knowledge is amazing! She was kind and caring with our Eloise (1 1/2 yrs)”

“I can't recommend working with Caroline enough! I have a 2 and a half year old rescue chihuahua named Tito who struggled with fear of people and a lack of self-confidence. No matter what I tried to do, it just didn't seem to get better. After just a few sessions with Caroline, his growth has been amazing. He is much more confident in various situations (not just the ones we focused on during training), is way less scared/reactive to strangers on walks, much better with people entering our home, and is getting more comfortable with being left alone for short periods of time. We are so thankful, and Tito is, too!”

“Caroline is the best! Osito (our small white boy) is quite a nervous boy and was dealing with a lot of separation anxiety and reactivity to people. Mooney, on the other hand, was dog reactive. Over the 10 training sessions with Caroline, we could see how much the boys have grown more confident and made a lot of progress on their reactivity and anxiety. We also worked on so many things! We worked on their loose-leash walking, relaxation, and even some enrichment things like agility and nosework. We weren't able to leave the house without Osito howling, and through her homework and training sessions, we've made a lot of progress on his relaxation and are able to go on errands without him even whining.

Caroline is a kind and patient trainer who was really flexible with my partner and my scheduling as well. I really appreciated her guidance and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog trainer.”

“I cannot say enough great things about Caroline! My foster dog, Beatrice, struggled with serious reactivity—lunging, barking, and pulling whenever we encountered other dogs. Walks were stressful, and I was at a loss for how to help.

From our very first session, Caroline demonstrated an incredible understanding of canine behavior. She took the time to assess my foster dog’s triggers, explain the root causes of reactivity, and create a structured, positive training plan. Her patience, expertise, and encouragement made all the difference.

Thanks to her guidance, Bea has made remarkable progress! Walks are now enjoyable instead of stressful, and we’ve built confidence in handling situations that once felt impossible. I’m beyond grateful for Caroline’s support and highly recommend her to anyone struggling with dog behavior challenges. Beatrice will be sure to find her fur-ever home soon thanks to Caroline!”

“Caroline was super helpful during an extremely stressful and overwhelming time. Our 2.5 year old French bulldog did not like our newborn baby, like, at all. Barking at him anytime he was in the room. We had our pup stay with family for a month to get our bearings, then over the course of 10 training sessions (about 6 weeks), a lot of training at home on our end, we finally have a peaceful home and the baby and dog can chill side by side. That was impossible to imagine. And it was not instant, but Caroline really helped me stay optimistic and do the training needed. I would recommend her to anyone! And do training when your pup is young if you can.”

“A few months ago, my fiancé and I discovered Caroline while looking for a private dog trainer in Los Angeles. We were seeking assistance with our Jindo mix, who struggled with leash pulling, a short attention span, and excessive excitement. Caroline turned out to be an exceptional trainer, introducing us to an incredible method of dog training based on positive reinforcement.

While we still have some work ahead of us, our furry companion has undoubtedly shown significant improvements with Caroline's invaluable guidance. We are immensely grateful for her assistance and expertise.

Thank you so much!”

“Caroline was great with Rufus! Super clear in her instruction, kind and easy to work with and ensured that Rufus' needs were met. Rufus needed some basic command training and also tools to combat separation anxiety. She gave good instruction with homework and will definitely be using her methods!”

“We had an amazing experience with Caroline! She really gave us the tools to help our reactive dog calm down in certain situations. She was very positive and communicated well. Caroline tailored each training session to Rupert's needs and he gained so much confidence. So grateful to have found her.”

“Before working with Caroline loose leash walking looked a whole lot like me walking a hopping bunny rabbit up and down the block. Nola is such an exuberant girl and because I didn't know how to control our walks, she was always all over the place. During one of our training sessions Caroline patiently showed me how to hold the leash properly while keeping Nola at my side the entire time. With much practice over quite a few weeks, I feel a lot more confident loose leash walking Nola.

I'm so thankful that Caroline gave me some great tips on strengthening up Nola's recall. She's my shadow and she follows me everywhere I go. That includes outside. There have been a few occasions where she got past the porch gate and wandered onto the front yard. During those times she would not really respond to my "Here Nola!" command and as a result, I would have to chase her back into the house. Fortunately, because of lots of practice with Caroline's tips on recall, Nola is responding to my command more and more, which is a great relief to me.

Caroline even has given us training on impulse control which includes having Nola to wait at the door and porch gate before being taken out for a walk. This is very helpful with the door dashing as well.”

“My partner & I adopted a 3 year old rescue Bernese mountain dog mix who had a handful of quirks (leash reactivity, separation anxiety, attention barking, etc). We got so lucky having Caroline as our dog trainer. From being flexible and accommodating for session arrangements to the support & techniques she's provided us to help us become more attuned with our dog, she is incredible. Would highly recommend Caroline!”

“Caroline is the best dog trainer!! We had 2 trainers in the past until we met her. Her suggestions, tricks, and recommendations to our sweet Jesse always work. From a dog that barks all the time he became calmer and much disciplined.

You won't be disappointed!!”

“Caroline was an absolute godsend for our four-year old husky rescue, Lumi. Unaware of any previous trauma our poor girl went through, we weren't able to walk a block without Lumi pulling or barking at any person, dog, or leaf. Caroline instantly assessed her and gave us the tools we needed to help Lumi become comfortable not only on her walks, but also in our home. She's made herself available for any questions we've had, even after the completion of our private sessions. We're so grateful for her and highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their relationships with their loyal friends.”

“She is a 5 star trainer! She is professional, knowledgeable, and patient. I used to think I can "do it myself" by watching youtube videos but having a trainer made a big difference and I'm surprised by my dog's improvement. Maxwell and I are very happy with Caroline. She is very resourceful and always answers to my questions with great details.”

“Caroline, my private trainer, is very sweet and knowledgeable. Caroline comes to my house and designs the training methods base on my dog's issues and I see immediately improvements!”

“Caroline Wu is a true dog trainer professional. My dogs, Petey and Dottie, took an immediate liking to her. The dogs were both puppies when they first met. Caroline's training methods were always given with positive reinforcements. Caroline has intuitive dog sense. She had no harshness to her discipline. And my dogs responded well to Caroline and her methods.”

“Moxie is doing great learning manners and obedience, but you know who is learning the most? Me! It is absolutely exhilarating to acquire new skills that help me communicate with her in a way she easily understands, and it's making our bond stronger every day. By the time she reaches full maturity (and 80lbs?) she may even start listening to me! 😂🙏”

“Caroline helped us to understand our dog better and allowed us all (as a family) to hear the same message so that we could all train her in the same way so that the expected response from our dog could be achieved. We've seen significant improvements in our dog. For the first time ever, I was able to walk my dog alone without being pulled by her while going uphill. Our dog has learned to listen better to commands and our neighbors have seen a big improvement in her behavior. I am grateful for Caroline's patience and calmness. I feared that my dog's nipping behavior would frighten or harm her, but she knew exactly how to take control and manage her. She taught us "high value treats" and games we could play to keep our dog engaged. Simple things like how to properly hold a "loose leash" was important for all of us to hear. We also learned how to redirect our dog so she wouldn't constantly be pulling ahead of us. Our dog has also learned how to ignore the yapping dogs next door when she hears them and is learned to become desensitized to their constant barking. I am grateful that Caroline addressed these issues because these yapping dogs aren't going to go away, so learning how to deal with this, was very important. I feel our dog is significantly more manageable and we owe this to Caroline. We could never get our dog to go to the front gate without pulling us, and now she can walk to the gate and not be so hyper energized. I appreciate the positive training tips! Caroline helped us to understand how our behaviors and responses to our dog was affecting our dog. I highly recommend Caroline and would request her back if I felt my dog might need further training. Thank you Caroline!”
